Can you cook something in a crockpot?
I put a brisket of beef and vegetables on high for 2 hours then turned down low. After a total of 8 hours, the brisket is tender. Should I keep it for another couple of hours or will it be worse? Ok, I'll continue to cook. Thank you for all the valuable input! Much appreciated!
It is not cooked. It takes about 12 hours. I made a brisket last year in the crock pot and cook over 10hrs. The rib cage is out of soo tender and falling apart. This year, I cooked on top of the stove in a huge pot. I cooked slowly for 3 hours. Dinner together (cabbage, potatoes, carrots) went well. Can you tell I like to cook?
