Crock-Pot Pulled Chicken Sandwiches This is a simple solution to making barbecue chicken sandwiches and popular alternative from the shredded pork. You will not get the authentic flavor the real, smoked chicken, but it is a great way to grill chicken without a smoker. Ingredients: 1 whole chicken, cut into chunks 1 onion, chopped 1 (16 ounces) cola 1 / 2 cup ketchup 3 tbsp tablespoons brown sugar Salt and pepper to taste 1 c. tablespoons of liquid smoke PREPARATION: Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker or Crock-Pot on low heat. Stir and cook for 8 hours. Remove chicken from slow cooker. Remove skin and bones and shred. Serve on buns or rolls. Good served with the right of coleslaw on the sandwich
