
I am a lover of beef, a fish lover, a lover of turkey and pork lover. But overall, I'm definitely a lover of chicken more than any something else. I found these two recipes on my favorite Crock Pot recipe site www.crockpot-recipes.com. I love them, and believe me, you'll like them too!
Chicken Marsala Recipe
Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts without skin
1 / 2 teaspoon salt
1 / 2 teaspoon pepper
1 tsp tablespoons olive oil
1 / 4 cup flour
1 / parsley 4 cups
1 / 2 cup Marsala wine
1 / 2 cup sliced mushrooms
Directions:
Blend most of the flour with salt and pepper and cover the chicken breasts in mixture. In a skillet, brown chicken breasts on both sides and place in slow cooker. Add wine and mushrooms to skillet and heat for about 10 minutes, while creating and stirring. Sprinkle flour on the left chest and chicken pour the sauce. Cook over low heat for 6 hours. Use parsley to garnish the finished chicken marsala.
Hawaiian chicken in a crockpot
Ingredients:
Hawaiian Marinade Mrs. Lowry
Med 1 box pineapple chunks (juice and all)
2-4 chicken breasts
Directions:
Marinate chicken for several hours before cooking.
Fully cooked chicken in the oven or in a frying pan. Place all ingredients in your crock pot on low heat for 4-6h. Approximately 20 minutes before serving, add 1-2tbs flour and stir to thicken sauce.
Cooking chicken in a crockpot? Here's a tip:
Never store the chicken at room temperature or inside for very Crockpot long as it gives the chance for bacterial growth. Whatever chicken or poultry affected should not be reused after have been thoroughly cleaned to avoid spreading bacteria. Always cook chicken well done where there is no pink or juice meat.
