Slow Cooker Chicken Stew to serve 13-16 people?
okay hear the case. im looking for a good Crockpot Chicken Stew, which serves a population 13-16 good … Theres 10 of us, but they eat like Thers 20. all recipes ive seen are 6-8. Help me Out please.
Slow cookers come in small (1-2QT), medium (3QT), and large (6QT). You may have to use 2 Crock-pots, or cut up some way. RUSTIC Chicken Stew (for 8 people if double) 2 lb boneless chicken cut into 1 "cubes (Or just take a couple of cut chickens). 3 medium onions, quartered, 2 carrots into 1 "pieces 2 potatoes into 1" cubes 2 cans of chicken broth. Place in crock pot, add optional spices: 1 tsp Tea celery seed, 1 c. Tea of dried thyme, 1 / 2 tsp Tea black pepper. Cover and cook on low heat 7 to 9 hours, or heat 4 to 6 hours. In the last 15 to 30 minutes, add 8 ounces mushrooms, 1 cup frozen corn 1 cup frozen peas.
