Quick and easy meals are a good thing when it comes to trying manage a busy family and a busy career. So the faster and easier for me to do would be to have our head of household staff, "Pierre" to whip a meal while I was soaking in a bubble bath luxurious finishes this wonderful novel or reading the latest magazine modes. While soaking and reading, my husband gives me a wonderful foot rub. After my soak, I dress for dinner and head to the dining room, to find my husband and children washed beaming smiles and looks forward to our meal. Escapes wonderful aroma of the kitchen as Chef Pierre approached the table with the first course of our meal … OK, Reality Check!
If you're not some multi-millionaire, your dinner will not quite that way. If you're like me your evening went something like this: You pick up children from the bus stop and head home, Kid 1 says: "I hunger, what we eat? ". 2 Kid is too busy picking his nose to be concerned about the dinner and decided that Kid 1 should eat his "nugget" nose for dinner! While World War III begins in the back seat of your car on a dung attack nose, you start making mental control of what is at home in the refrigerator or freezer that does not require cutting the hair before cook! You are returned to unload the children and wipe Kid 2 hands and nose. Kid 1 is the refrigerator with the door open by saying: "Hey, Mom, I hunger, I can have some pudding? ". with Kid 2 in the" trailer "you shut the refrigerator before Kid 1 can finish opening the pudding snack, and send them in the living room to play while you fix dinner. As you meditate meal tonight, you hear a "blood-curdling" Scream Kid 2 and rush into the living room to find Kid 2 located in the floor, crying after being expelled by Kid 1. Kid 1 is wiping his face, saying: "It me again, Mom! "," Boogers are bad, does he know that? ". At this stage, wipe your face, kiss the booboo and try to get them Make-up and play nice. So, back to cooking! You open the freezer to find a frozen pizza, 1 bag of frozen blueberries and huge "hunk" of beef that looks the size of the buttocks of an elephant (you bought on sale and do not divide before froze). Your pretty sure the butt "elephant" does not fit in the microwave to thaw, so it'll be blueberries or pizza. You choose the pizza and preheat the oven, you're about to put the pizza in the oven, your sweet husband walks through the door and said with a smile: "Hey, MP!" "What's for dinner?". You fight back the urge to him in harmony with the frozen pizza in your hands and simply say: "pizza".
Well, if all this sounds familiar to you, then let me tell you some good news: there is a way to get a good meal cooked on the table with drawing hair. The secret is a personal chef – but his name is not Peter, it was Mr. Crock. The good news is that with the busy schedules of women, the alias in the slow cooker Crock-Pot "has returned! All you have to do is put your vegetables and meat in it in the morning, cook on low (or high depending on the recipe) throughout the day and enjoy dinner this evening. It really can be as simple as that! You never know with This "personal chef" to customs that you might get this bubble bath after all!
Slow Tips for the cook
Here are some tips I found to help when you use a pressure cooker:
1. Do not fill the pot full, only half to three quarters of the road.
2. Keep the lid when finished cooking, you lose about 25 degrees or more heat cooking every time you lift the lid.
3. Vegetables thick should be placed on the bottom because they will not cook as fast as meat.
4. Brown meat before adding to slow cooker it contributes to preserve the flavors that could be lost by a slower cooking method.
5. Spray your stove with a non-coated cooking to avoid Hard-to-own side.
