Chicken and dumplings in croockpot?
I want a recipe for chicken and dumplings that you can make in a crockpot. I want an original recipe. Not those fancy, just old school. Thank you!
Ha! I just did that tonight for dinner. Here is an easy recipe my mom told me given: N CHICKEN 1 chicken dumplings together (I used chicken breasts) 5 cups water 1 celery PIECE 1 1 / 2 cups Bisquick milk 2 PACKS OF CHICKEN SAUCE MIX. (I used 3) 1) cut and Chicken rinse and boil until tender. Reserve stock. DE-OS and takeoff SKIN book. 2) Mince celery and added to the chicken broth and cook over low heat HEAT. 3) Bisquick MIX WITH ENOUGH MILK IN Soak a moist semi BATTER. By Spoon teaspoons into a mold MICROWAVABLE FULL PAN. Microwave for about 2 minutes. 4) mixture to sauce mixture is approximately 3 / 4 cup water pay BOILING IN STOCK. Stirring constantly until it thickens SOME. 5) Turn down heat and add the chicken and garnish dumplings. Mix gently, cover and cook for few minutes COVERED. Happy Cooking!
