Hot Fudge will be OK for 4 hours in a crockpot?
We'll have a chocolate festival in a few weeks. One of our offerings is to build your own Hot Fudge Sundae. I'll make a homemade recipe Hot Fudge, but I wonder if it will "take" in a crock pot on low heat for several hours. I will not crash separate or become too thick. Help!
I would advise using techniques such as in the recipe below ……. grease walls slow cooker with butter or spray pam, stirring, etc. Dessert Chocolate Fondue 1 1 / 2 cup butter or margarine 8 pk Chocolate candy with Almonds (one oz size) 1 1 / 2 c Marshmallows, miniature 3 TB milk 1 / 2 c Whipping Cream Crock Wall Rub with butter. Place chocolate, milk and marshmallows in the crock pot. Cover and cook, stirring every 30 minutes, until melted and smooth. Gradually add whipping cream. Cover and keep warm for service until 2 to 6 hours later.
