do in need to cook Italian sausage and place in slow cooker or will it be ok for cooking 5 hours on high?
I'm a sausage and potatoes and carrots in the crock pot dish with cream of mushroom and cream of celery soup poured over it, do I cook Italian sausage before I put in the crock pot, or will it be OK cooking in the crockpot alone for 5 hours? I know it will not brown if I do not put it in a skillet for a few minutes but this does not matter that I'm just concerned about cooking along.
It will be fine in the slow cooker.
