Roast sirloin of pork for barbecue pulled pork?
I could not find "shoulder" or "butt" songs pork in the grocery store, so I accidentally bought a pork roast 4 pounds sirloin (it was wrapped in as a string) instead. I tried to make BBQ pulled pork, and I hope I can always make the dinner in my crockpot with this cut of pork? HELP IF PLEASE!, And include an alternative recipe to make dinner amazing .. its my first time making it, and I already screwed up, I counted do the following: Set the crock pot on low, put the pork (with a little salt, pepper and garlic powder), and 16 ounces of coke, and 2 chopped onions slices for 8 hours. I was under way to remove the pork, drain the liquid and onions, remove the pork apart and transfer back into the slow cooker with hickory bbq sauce, cooked over low heat for 2 hours more. Does this work with a net roast.Hopefully!
Oh yes, it will be very tasty. At least you will not have to worry about removing fat from the shoulder or butt cut. It will be wet cooked in a crock pot. You're doing well, so Keep On Keepin 'On.
