When it comes to delicious meals, you can have healthy too! Today more than ever, delicious foods are intended to provide health benefits in a delicious dish that is a favorite for years to come. Fried chicken chili is a delicious blend of spicy chicken health perfect, without the unnecessary additions of fat and sugar.
Instead of relying on additives that enhance the flavor of the meal, there is a meal that takes simple ingredients and makes a dish easy to fix and appreciated by all. Take a closer look why this is a favorite in my house!
Chile Fried Chicken
Ingredients:
2 v. tablespoons flour
¼ c. Tea cayenne
1 tsp tea powder Chile
½ c. Tea cumin
½ c. tsp dried oregano
½ c. tea garlic powder
½ c. Tea Salt
4 chicken breasts, cubed
3 c. Table vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cups chicken broth
¼ cup chili powder
1 tsp tablespoon hot New Mexico chili powder
1 tsp Tea cumin
1 tsp tsp dried oregano
20 oz can pinto beans, drained
Directions:
In a plastic bag: mix the flour, cayenne pepper, chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic powder and salt and mix together. Add chicken cubes and stir to coat with spice mixture.
Heat 2 v. tablespoons oil in large skillet and cook chicken, turning as necessary until the chicken is lightly browned, put side. Heat remaining oil in same skillet and cook for 5 minutes. Place chicken and onion mixture in a large saucepan with chicken broth.
Add all remaining ingredients – except the pinto beans – bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour (add water if necessary). Add the beans, taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Tip: This is a chili temperature hot! Hard crust of country bread, sliced thick, lightly seasoned with oil and roasted or grilled is all you'll need This spicy chicken chili.
Dry soup: lots of Mexican dishes feature bread or tortillas are dipped in a sauce until what the dish is more like a casserole or heavy stew than soup. In Mexico, they refer to these dishes like soups dry.
Canned peppers Free: with the growing interest in Mexican food across the U.S., you will probably find be able to find fresh chilies to meet the needs of your kitchen.
