My father was from Texas, so we were brought up eating black eyed peas for luck of New Year's Day. I like mine on cornbread with some piccalilli (taste made from green tomatoes) on top.
Yes, I am:) and Hog throat … Well, I'm mostly going to eat black-eyed peas and greens. I'll leave the throat of pork for other people. Happy New Year to you!
