How many ways can you cook the sausage?
My German grandmother gave me over 100 pounds of sausage and sauerkraut Authentic German for my wedding. I have no idea how to prepare because until recently I was a vegetarian. In many recipes out there?? Im ready to invest in a crock pot if necessary. Preferably no recipes with paprika in them, my new husband is allergic.
well I'll tell you what I came up with something that turned out great. cut some of this sausage, short pieces and throw them in the casserole with a little cream of mushroom and one can of soup with cheese. then a bit of cream cheese and a slice of butter, very rich and tastey. you have to adjust for the amount you want to feel more cans of soup and just add a little water. it needs to be very thick and rich, very filling. I suggest trying it in a small amount and make the taste, make notes and creat man, you can do.
